Seeking Families to Share Their Culture at First Universalist Church Summer Camp!

This summer, the First Universalist Church of Denver is hosting an exciting camp for kids with the theme: “Passport to Connection.”

We’re looking for families who would love to share their culture with us, helping our campers explore the world by learning about the rich diversity of traditions, beliefs, art, and food that make each culture unique.

Here’s what we’re envisioning:

  • A hands-on art project or activity that reflects your culture.
  • Sharing stories or traditions about your beliefs, history, or holidays.
  • Providing (or guiding us in preparing) a special meal or lunch that represents your culture.

Details:

• A background check will be required to ensure the safety of all participants.
• You’ll also meet with our Director of Religious Education to coordinate your involvement and answer any questions.

This is an incredible opportunity to connect with our community, inspire children, and celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity. Let’s help them stamp their “passport” with meaningful experiences!

If you or someone you know might be interested, please reach out to Letitia@firstuniversalist.org or Naomi@firstuniversalist.org. We’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for considering being part of this enriching and exciting summer journey. Together, we can make this summer camp unforgettable!
