When the world feels cruel, gratitude can help us hold on to our humanity. This service reflects on where we find hope, connection, and courage when times feel most inhumane. In gratitude, we remember that to be human is to love, to create, to resist despair, and to rise together.

Our Common Table

If you are joining us in Denver, we invite you to our monthly Our Common Table Potluck and Arts and Crafts time together before our Community Celebration. This is more than a meal, It’s an act of spiritual ingathering, celebration, and radical hospitality. In addition to this nourishing our bodies we will nourish our souls with time for fellowship and arts & crafts. Bring what you can and receive what you will, a favorite dish or desert, as well as a story, and your imagination, all are welcome at our table.

Join us for a harvest celebration that honors the abundance of community and the wisdom of decolonizing our food traditions. Bring your favorite family dish or dessert, especially one that tells a story of where you come from or how you nourish others. Together, we’ll share a meal that reimagines gratitude, uplifts our ancestral roots of the harvest season, and celebrates our interdependence.

More About our 3rd Sunday TMT/UURJ Community Celebration

Our 3rd Sunday Community Celebration, a time to be spiritually rejuvenated and renewed in the midst of the month led by Rev Gordon Clay Bailey. We will offer BIPOC centered and led inspiration, reflection, and a deep sense of connection. Through music, word, and shared wisdom, we will gather to nourish our spirits and strengthen our commitment to racial justice and collective liberation.

NOTE: Following the service, all are invited to stay for The Mountain Top UU and UUs for Racial Justice caucus conversations, providing space for deeper dialogue, shared learning, and community building. Come as you are – your voice, your presence, and your spirit are needed and welcome.
