Buried Secrets in Paradise, a Monologue

Buried Secrets in Paradise – a Monologue Performance Piece by Holly Fulton
Figuring out how to hold “ugly” family history in one’s head and heart can be quite disturbing for many of us. Holly Fulton has been working with these very challenges related to the three generations of her Rhode Island ancestors being the biggest family slave trading business in the United States. Ms. Fulton has developed a monologue performance piece to share various stories, perspectives, insights, and questions for exploration.
Please join us May 11th at First Universalist Church of Denver for “Buried Secrets in Paradise,” Holly’s 45-minute performance piece, followed by some singing and group discussion. We will all look at the need for acknowledging history that many do not want to talk about, and how acknowledging it is for healing purposes in our culture. If you plan to attend, please RSVP so we know how many people to expect!
