– 2nd Sunday Community Celebration (worship)
– 3rd Sunday Full Community Celebration with UUs for Racial Justice & Sepulveda UU Society
– 4th Sunday Community Gathering
Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the 200th birthday of Thomas Starr King, Unitarian minister, abolitionist, and champion of justice. As part of our December theme of “Divine Light,” we will reflect on Starr King’s powerful legacy and his tireless work to bring light to the darkest corners of society through his advocacy for freedom, equality, and compassion. Through music, storytelling, and reflection, we will explore how his life continues to inspire us to let our own light shine in service to justice and love.
Come celebrate the life and legacy of this remarkable figure in Unitarian Universalist history!
All are invited on Sunday evening at 5:30 pm MT for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening celebration. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm MT and lasts approximately one hour.
This will be a “Full Community Celebration” with UUs for Racial Justice and SepulvedaUU. After our Celebration, we will be hosting an extended checkin and discussion space with breakout rooms for our BIPOC and White Siblings.
